We at PreventionPlatform.co.uk use government data and third-party APIs to show information about crimes in the UK. Our primary data source constitutes the following:

• LAND REGISTRY (PRICE PAID DATA)

  We use Land Registry (Price Paid Data) to show property details. They have provided free access to UK Property data for use by public organisations and commercial purposes on their official website at https://www.gov.uk/search-property-information-land-registry.

  We analyse the collected data to produce valuable insights into property sale trends and house prices in the UK. Our property price database is updated regularly to show the most recent property prices in the UK.

• UK POLICE CRIME REPORTS

  We have used crime reports made available by the UK Police Force. The UK Police are publishing crime data on their official website at data.police.uk.

  We provide monthly updates to show recent crime statistics in the UK, so you're always equipped with the latest and most relevant crime data to make informed decisions.

• GOOGLE API AND OSM MAPS

  Google Maps API is used to get the exact coordinates of crime locations, police stations and postcodes. We use the API to collect updated information about postcode transports and nearby amenities.

  We show interactive maps on our website using OpenStreetMap, an open-source Geo-map Platform. We use the map to pinpoint the exact crime spot and postcode location.

• COMPANIES HOUSE DATABASE

  We use Company House Data to show details about businesses and companies in a particular area. We also display the top influential people living in the area.

• LICENCE: Open Government Licence v3.0
