101 it
101 is a new 24-hour number provided by your police and local council to deal with community safety issues, including non-emergency crime, policing and anti-social behaviour.

101 will be available across England and Wales from 2008 but is launching in five areas during Summer 2006.

101 is for:
Vandalism, graffiti and other deliberate damage to property
Noisy neighbours
Intimidation and harassment
Abandoned vehicles
Rubbish and litter, including fly tipping
People being drunk or rowdy in public places
Drug-related anti-social behaviour
Problems with street lighting

You should still dial 999 when there is immediate danger or you witness a crime taking place.
